When I was a little girl my Dad had a Palomino horse named, Charlie.  Charlie was the kind of horse that anyone could ride and never fear. I remember riding him with my Dad and bareback.  I remember all the kids in the neighborhood riding Charlie. Charlie lived to be 32 years old!!

Little did I know until I got older and decided I wanted my own horses to ride what a treasure Charlie really was. After, trial and error, I believe I have two great  horses who have the potential to follow in Charlie's footsteps.   I bought Beau at the end of last summer from Rich Boer. Beau was a dream for me to find and improve my riding skills on. He is so calm and easy to work with.  And as anyone who has horses knows, you can’t have just one!!! So I began looking for the perfect Palomino. Not long I found Duffman ( Crawford was his original name). He is so sweet. He loves to follow me around like a dog. Duffman and Beau get along pretty good although it does not take long to figure out Beau is the boss. At first Duffman seemed a little nervous around the chickens, geese, pigs, cows, goats, and etc but now he fits into the farm life quite well. His first owners, the Martin's still keep track with him, which proves he is a good one who was loved much. I am very proud to have my two boys!!
